She is survived by: her parents, Otis Robert Lige and Linda Ann Sheard (Broderick Beale); her children, Takeeda Jahfeeah Lige of Scranton, PA, Ies'Mira Lige of Portsmouth, VA and Thomas Deon Black of Franklin, VA; her grandsons, Jalyn Wadud and Ny'Ceir Robert Lige; her siblings, Tony Allen Davis of Franklin, VA and Hikisha Takeeda Lige of Newark, N. J; her siblings' children, Violet Freeman of Newark, NJ, Alvin Jones of Newark, N. J and Anthony Adonis Davis of Franklin, VA; her great-nieces, Jamiyah Freeman and Iyanna Ann Henson; and her great-nephew Ja'Sai Harris. She is also survived by 7 aunts, 3 uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woody Home (163 Oakwood Ave, City of Orange, NJ 07050). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
