She was predeceased by: her parents, Bento Perricho and Rosa Gomes; and her spouse Avelino Branco Afonso. She is survived by: her children, Antonio Afonso and Marie Elizabeth Fernandes (Carlos Fernandes); and her grandchildren, Kyle Fernandes and Amber Fernandes. She is also survived by 6 siblings; also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (82 Congress St, Newark, NJ 07105).
