She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Williams and Rose Anna Williams; and her son Joseph Lester, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Keith Lester (Luz) of Graniteville, SC, Michael Lester, Sr. (Regina) of Brooklyn, NY and Valerie Lester Ellis (Robert); her grandchildren, Antoine McElveen, Shaina Rismay (Daniel), Keith D. Lester (Angelika), Michael Lester, Jr. and Alexandra Lester; her stepgrandchildren, Robert Ellis, Jr., Landel Ellis, Kendrina Ellis and Gerel Valentine; and her sister-in-law Agnes Williams. She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Neighbor Baptist Church (100 Chancellor Ave, Newark, NJ 07112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Graceland Memorial Park (1900 Galloping Hill Rd, Kenilworth, NJ 07033).
