He is survived by: his wife Ute Herta Diehl; his sons, James Richard Soltys and Jason Kenneth Soltys; his grandchildren, Evan, Sabine and Anna Soltys; his brother Manfred; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Pausch of Kleinlinden, Germany; his nephews, Scott and Mark Proos; and his cousins, Al and Shirley Fanaro of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
