She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Mida Smith (Hendershot); her husband Robert L. Vealey; and her siblings, Lawrence Smith and Joyce Betz.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Hartmann (Donald), Gayle Hull (Glenn), Valerie Clasby and Barbara Vealey (John Curtis); and her close friend Gerard Prosapio. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
