He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Yurchak (Kota) and Sgt. Michael J. Yurchak of Ogdensburg; his stepfather Stanley John Balson; and his brother Jon Balson. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Como); his sons, Mark Yurchak (Kathia) of Sparta and Patrick Yurchak of Florida; his stepchildren, Adam Lazier (Rebecca) of Wantage, Aric Lazier (Agnieszka) of Byram and Ann Marie Sorensen of Wantage; his brother Gary Balson of Millville; his grandchildren, Allison, Nicholas, Abigail, Owen, Katelyn, Lauren, Kayla, Jacob, Emily, Landon, Dominic, Christopher and Charlotte; his great grandchild Jaxson; and his sister-in-law Cindi of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many cousins that he adored, and several nieces and nephews.
