Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his mother Joanne Smolinski (Ryker); and his brother John. He is survived by: his father Thomas Smolinski; his wife Lisa Smolinski (DeVita); his sons, Steven M. Smolinski (Natasha) of Greeley, PA, Daniel T. Smolinski (Katie) of Branchville, Marc Smolinski (Melissa) of Sussex, Timothy Smolinski (Noemi) of Budd Lake and Eli Smolinski (Rachel) of Wantage; and his siblings, Michael Smolinski of Hamburg and Tamara Smolinski of Bash River. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Inc. (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
