He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gaven and Eva Gaven; his brother James Gaven Jr.; and his former wife Annette Gaven (Leo). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Gaven; his siblings, Tom Gaven, Joanne Eyler and Mary Jean Gizzo; his children, Denise Kowalski (Raymond) and John Gaven (Marcia); his granddaughters, Elizabeth DiIenno (Christian), Hannah Gaven and Emily Gaven; and his great grandchildren, Annette DiIenno and Braeden DiIenno.
