He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sr. and Sarah; his former wife Rece Carlin; his sisters, Geraldine Brower and Mary Daniels; and his grandson Matthew Carlin.
He is survived by: his spouse Maurice Sherry (Rece); and his children, Kevin (Rosy), Brian (Donna), Kathleen, Michael (Bonnie) and Daniel (Sarah). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and innumerable beloved nieces and nephews.
