She was predeceased by : her parents, Luis Pavia and Jovita Ayala; and her son Anselmo Guzman. She is survived by : her children, Mauro, Jose, Adelina, Gustavo, Maribel, Uriel and Bertha Guzman; her grandchildren, Mavrick, Aracely, Sandra, Jessenia, Lilia, Erika, Melina, Maribel, Joseluis, Oscar, Jenifer, Joselyn, Jaiden, Beatriz, Manuel, Claudia, Gustavo, German, Gerardo, Balevia, Jose M., Lissette, Bertha, Andrea and Saul; and her sister Bertha Pavia. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
