It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sergio DeCesare of North Bergen, New Jersey, who passed away on October 5, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria DeCesare; his children, Giovanni DeCesare, Serafina Valente, Porzia Talamo (Francesco) and Maria Vicari; his grandchildren, Pierra, Maria, Jessica, Salvatore, Silvia, Sergio, Antonio and Marta; and his parents, Serafina DeCesare and Giovanni B. DeCesare. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial (533 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ 07030). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis R. C. Church (308 Jefferson St, Hoboken, NJ 07030).
