She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barrood and Nejeba Barrood; her son Russell W. Thompson; her daughter-in-law Tonia Thompson; her siblings, Louis, Abraham, Edward, David, Phillip Barrood, Adele Antonios, Sister Rose Barrood, Jennie Meseroll, Marie Kerekes and Grace Forrest; and her sibling-in-law Russell Thompson Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Thompson of New Brunswick and William Thompson of Cincinnati, OH; and her grandsons, Matthew and Alan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home of North Brunswick (555 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
