With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara McClay (North Cape May, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Benedetto and Domenic Benedetto; her husband William D. McClay; and her sons-in-law, Gary and John.
She is survived by: her children, Rita (Robb), Vincent, Michael, Donna (Garretson), Laura Snow (Michael), William and Linda; her grandchildren, Barbara (Nick), Gary Jr. (Quinn), Domenic, Marc (Jen), Nicole, Tony (Stephanie), Clay, Holly, Cain, William, Marissa, Sean and Sara; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Cole, Emir, Isla, Brooke, Lydia, Scarlet, Landon, Tripp, Mckinley, Jason, Monroe and Lincoln; and her brother William Benedetto.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Jude's Hospital for children.
