He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Mierop and Elizabeth Mierop; his pet Muffin; his wife Karen Mierop; his daughters, Kimberly Veinberg (Dima) of North Haledon and Wendy DeWall (Stephen) of Newtown Square, PA; his grandchildren, Anya Veinberg, Peter DeWall, Nathan DeWall, Elise DeWall and Anna DeWall; and his siblings, Elizabeth Kranik, Bertha Bassani and Jacob Mierop.
