Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Phyllis leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred DeRuiter and Sadie DeRuiter; and her husband Richard. She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Malefyt (Timothy), Susan Martin (late Ronald) and Nancy Drukker (Roy). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren (1 deceased), and 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rockpoint Community Church (400 N Haledon Ave, North Haledon, NJ 07508).
