With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Mary Stankiewicz of North Plainfield, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on July 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Chapleski and Mary Chapleski (Sadowski); and her brothers, Joseph, Richard and Robert Chapleski.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Stankiewicz; her sibling's children, Lorraine Chapleski, Cindy Weir, Richard Chapleski, Wendy Castro, Adam Chapleski and Diego Castro; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica Prater, Nicole Castro, Christina Metzler, Matthew Castro, Elizabeth Chapleski and Lauren Chapleski; Elias Prater, Oliver Prater, Theodore Metzler, Rowan Metzler and Maeve Metzler.
In honor of Carole's memory and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org), a foundation that held significant meaning to Carole.
