He was predeceased by : his father William; and his brother Edward. He is survived by : his wife Helen (Minard); his son William Moore; his daughters-in-law, Kathy and Ann; his sister Debra Ann Bower; and his grandson Jeremy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his name at the American Kidney Fund.
