He is survived by: his wife Palma Ann "Pam" Simpson (Verdinelli); his daughter Christine Badtke; his granddaughter Giavanna Russo; his siblings, Robert Simpson and Kathy Cockrell (Michael); and his siblings' children, Michael Cockrell Jr. (Heather), Gregory Cockrell (Lauren), Amie Marshall (Dave) and David Simpson (Katie). He is also survived by cousins; and the son.
