She was predeceased by: her father Floyd E. Hassell; and her husband Robert Grist. She is survived by: her children, Holly Lamey, Melvin G. Thompson, III and Nancie Curry (Kevin); her grandchildren, Kelli Sutor (Corey), Corey Richey, Samantha Swetra (Adam), Jaclyn Spiegel (Harry), Alissa Mierzwinski (Matt), Sean Thompson (Lisa) and Sarah Thompson (Tristen); and her great grandchildren, Dahlia, Danielle of Hailey, JD, Trevor of Luke, AJ, Charlotte, Christina and Rhys.
