Elliot Essman Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Elliot Essman (Northvale, New Jersey) is shared. Elliot, born on May 18, 1950, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Elliot will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Elliot by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Elliot is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Elliot’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zora Essman and Leonard Essman; and his sister Nora Morrow. He is survived by: his son Thor Essman; his sisters, Susie Essman and Nina Essman; his nephew Sean Morrow; and his nieces, Lorelei and Sabrina Essman-Freeman.
