Kathryn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kathryn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kathryn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William McLaughlin; her sons, Robert McLaughlin, William McLaughlin (Diana) and Jake McLaughlin (Maureen); her daughter-in-law Susan McLaughlin; and her parents, Mary Lorden and Robert Lorden. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home (161 Washington Ave, Dumont, NJ 07628). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux R. C. Church (120 Monroe Ave, Cresskill, NJ 07626).
