He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Fernandez and Maria Cacheiro Fernandez; his spouse Blandina Fernandez; and his grandson Jose B. Fernandez, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jose Manuel Fernandez (Mary Jo) of Pennsylvania, Rosa Turiansky (Eugene) of Geneva, NY and Andres Fernandez, Jr. of Nutley; his grandchildren, Nicholas Fernandez, Joell, Vorpahl, Andrew Fernandez, Alexis Chauvette and Allison Fernandez; and his great grandchildren, Christopher "CJ", Alexander and Isla.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hackensack Meridian Health Hospice South, 1140 Route 72 West, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
