He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. and Julia Smith (Cox). He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Smith (Tansey); and his brothers-in-law, James T. Tansey and William J. Tansey, Sr. (Margaret Tansey). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
