She is survived by: her husband Eartha Kitt; her sister Fran Mosbarger; her daughter Lisa Suhay; and her grandchildren, Zoltan Suhay, Ian Suhay, Avery Suhay, Mellow Fete and Elizabeth Battiest.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Norfolk Chapel (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517).
Service will be held at H.D. Oliver on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2 p.m. Because she so deeply loved and supported her transgender granddaughter who selflessly assisted in her care, she asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Norfolk LGBT Life Center a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, located at 5360 Robin Hood Rd, Norfolk, VA 23513, or via the secure donation link: https://form-renderer-app.donorperfect.io.
