He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Tanis and Leonard Tanis. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert (Maryellen) of Ringwood, NJ and Leonard (Patricia) of Oakland, NJ; and his nieces and nephews, Erin, Robert (Meagan), Carlin, Lauren, Brian and Kaitlyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oakland Memorial (330 Ramapo Valley Rd, Oakland, NJ 07436). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
