She was predeceased by: her parents, Amie Riper and Seeley Van Riper; and her husband Carl. She is survived by: her siblings, Seeley, Ted, Mabel, Marge, Bette and Totowa; and her children, Carla, Linda and Kenneth. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakland First Aid Squad or Ponds Reformed Church Food Pantry.
