With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Ruth Velardo of Oakland, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Velardo, Jr.; her children, Nicholas Velardo, III and Karen Velardo; and her siblings, Fran Susko and Jim McCorry.
She is survived by: her daughter MaryAnne Smith; her grandchildren, Cara Smith, Erin Smith and Lauren Crisci (Carmine); and her nieces, Debra Healy, Cheryl Fowler and Patty Regis.
