He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Bach "Snow" Merkel; and his children, Daniel Merkl and Allison Hemingway.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes - Oaklyn (400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ 08107). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
No flowers will be accepted after 4:00 pm on 10/3.
