With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aileen G Callender (Ocean City, New Jersey), who passed away on December 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Aileen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Aileen. Though Aileen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Clark David Callender; and her daughter Dara. She is survived by: her brother Robert Powell Gongloff (Maria); her children, Shawn Callender Hogan (William) and Clark Lynn Callender (Irene); her granddaughters, Lara (Benjamin), Elissa (Vincent), Samantha and Rachel (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Josephine and Evangeline.
