He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen; his children, Sean Tarves (Monique), Traci Shimp (Michael), Jessica and Shannon Tarves; his siblings, Donald (Sharon), Barbara, Gwen and David; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Easton, Hayden Tarves, Nathan, Bradley and Nina Shimp. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
