She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Thompson and Dolores Thompson (Mullen); her husband Edward Hyra; her sister Geraldine (Thompson); and her brother-in-law James Barone Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Valentine (Smith); her grandson Andrew Valentine; her nieces, Susan Barone Davis (Chris) and Diane Barone Mitchell (James); and her nephew James Barone Jr. (Liz). She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McConaghy Funeral Home (328 W Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
