It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Matthews (Ocean City, New Jersey), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Robert (Adrian), Paul (Lynn), Edward (Carolyn), Daniel (Sandy) and James (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Catherine, Evan, Nicholas, Luke, Lena, Raymond and MacKenzie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Augustine's Church (1337 Asbury Ave, Ocean City, NJ 08226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine's R. C. Church of St. Damien Parish (1337 Asbury Ave, Ocean City, NJ 08226).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sister Jean's Kitchen and the South Jersey Jazz Society, in memory of Robert.
