She was predeceased by: her parents, John Distasio and Mary Distasio; and her siblings, Rosalie Fragasso of West Long Branch and Joseph Distasio (John Distasio) of Vorhees. She is survived by: her significant other Dominic Andrew Colannino; her children, Lorre Colannino Weisman (Jon Weisman) of Little Silver and Michael Andrew Colannino (Christine Bruder Colannino) of Chester; and her grandchildren, Alissa Weisman, Kevin Weisman, Kyle Weisman, Sophia Colannino, Luke Colannino and Max Colannino.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home (236 Monmouth Rd, Oakhurst, NJ 07755). A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church (240 Broad St, Eatontown, NJ 07724). An entombment was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodbine Cemetery (14 Maple Ave, Oceanport, NJ 07757).
