We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 99, Evelyn C. Houghton in Ocean, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Stanaway and Agnes Stanaway; her daughter Diane Houghton (Henry); her sister Eleanor Murphy; and her daughter Lesley Knapp.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Jeffrey Knapp of Mahwah and Michael Knapp of Point Pleasant; and her son-in-law Norbert Knapp of Point Pleasant.
