He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Kaplan and David Kaplan; and his brother Sheldon. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Kaplan; his sons, Philip (Jolie Kaplan) of Highland Park, IL, David (Tammy Kaplan) of Robbinsville and Andrew (James) of South Amboy; and his grandchildren, Shoshana, Joshua, Brody and Hailey.
