He was predeceased by: his daughter Delia Kathleen Gilhooly; his parents, John Gilhooly and Ellen Gilhooly; and his sister Franny Gori. He is survived by: his wife Frances Ellen Gilhooly (Quinn); his children, John Thomas Gilhooly, Jr. of Staten Island, NY and Shannon Cullagh (Michael) of Norfolk, MA; his siblings, Michael Gilhooly of Queens, NY, Margie Reynolds (George) of Brooklyn, Helen DeGennaro of Brooklyn, NY and Patricia Farrell (Peter) of Staten Island; and his grandchildren, Bridget, Liam and Sean.
