With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John V. Helm (Ocean, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2019 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace C. Helm and John V. Helm, Sr.; and his brother Jennings Helm. He is survived by: his wife Virginia L. Preston Helm; his children, Shirley G. Klaus (David) of Brick, NJ, Sandra E. DeAquino (Tony) of Ledgewood, NJ, Robin J. Price (Michael) of Lancaster, PA and John R. Helm, Sr. (Stephanie) of Point Pleasant, NJ; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Helm, Abigail Klaus, James Rowe, John R. Helm, Jr., Emily Rowe, Ryan Helm, Isabella Rowe, Ashley Helm and Gianna Helm; and his stepgrandchildren, Cory Grimm, Jack DeAquino and Grace DeAquino. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
