She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovana Ciaglia (Saccone) and Cosimo Ciaglia; and her sister-in-law Nina Ciaglia. She is survived by: her children, Michael McGowan (Lisa) and Maureen Vitalone (Larry Fachner); her grandson John Vitalone (Heather); her brother Michael Ciaglia (late Nina); her nieces, Michele Ciaglia McGuinness and Tracy Ciaglia (Sharon); her great-niece Jillian McGuinness; Michele Ciaglia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish (376 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
