He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Abitabilo and John Abitabilo; his wife Diane Abitabilo; and his sister Nina Rossi. He is survived by: his children, John, Jim (Larkin) and Donna; his brother Louis; his grandsons, Nolan and Devon; and his close friend Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home (111 N Gaston Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A prayer was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876).
