With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Hirshfield of Ocean, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Hirshfield and Morton Hirshfield. He is survived by: his children, Marc Hirshfield and Shara Alter; his wife Susan Hirshfield (Weinberg); his grandsons, Evan and Brent Hirshfield; his siblings, Norman Hirshfield and Judi Hirshfield-Bartek; his brother-in-law Elmer Bartek; his brother Dr. Arnold Weinberg (Susan); Josh Alter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapel (2130 NJ-35, Ocean Township, NJ 07712). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapel (2130 NJ-35, Ocean Township, NJ 07712).
