The passing of Claire Theresa Ayers of Oceanport, New Jersey, born in Long Branch, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sullivan and Anne Sullivan (Curley); her siblings, George, Robert, Jackie, Richard, Donald, Joan, Kay and Peggy; and her granddaughter-in-law Caroline Grace.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Grace (Stephen) and Darlene Crochet; her son-in-law Thomas Crochet; and her siblings, Doreen McCaffrey, Karen Coles (Charles) and Jerry Sullivan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oceanport Hook & Ladder Fire Company (21 Main St, Oceanport, NJ 07757).
