Kontir of Oceanport, New Jersey, born in Clifton, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2026 at the age of 84. She is survived by: her significant other Richard M. Kontir; her sister Gail Thomas Edwards (Steven); and her children, Debra Kontir Terry (Gregg) of Long Branch, NJ, Richard T. Kontir (Wendy) of Hellertown, PA, Jeffrey M. Kontir (Amy) of Charlotte, NC, Michele Kontir Sprauer (Scott) of Hermosa Beach, CA and Keith Kontir (Melissa) of Bushkill, PA.. She is also survived by grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
