Josephine Button Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Button in Oceanport, New Jersey, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 85. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Button; her children, Jacqueline Pagano (Russell Pagano) and Thomas Button (Katherine Button); her grandchildren, Cherie Bedell (Donnie Bedell), Russell A. Pagano, Ryan Pagano, Sean Button (Kendra Button) and Evan Button (Paige Button); and her great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Riley and Donnie. She is also survived by Great-Nana, wife, relative, and friend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 24 at 9:30 am at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch followed by the interment at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Christ the King Parish, 111 Chelsea Avenue, Long Branch NJ 07740.
