Barbara L. Stanton Obituary

We bid farewell to Barbara L. Stanton of Ogdensburg, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Barbara may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lancaster and Frances Lancaster of Denville; and her husband Richard Stanton. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Stanton and Terri Stanton (Gary Conte); and her grandchildren, Andreanna Nordland Negri (Brandon Negri), Richard Nordland and Scott Nordland, Jr. (Kathleen). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; as well as lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home (16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Chester Cemetery (40 Hillside Rd, Chester, NJ 07930).
