She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert; her parents, Simon Saet and Edith Saet; her sister Natalie Halper; and her brother-in-law Arnold Halper.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Gordon, Mara Samuels (John), Erica Sorohan (Michael), Richard Gordon, Paul Gordon (Allison) and Michael Gordon; her nephew Edward Halper; her grandchildren, Jaime Ruiz, Justin Ruiz (Louana), Jenevieve Falco (Stephen), Benjamin Sorohan, Emma Sorohan (William Ellingson), Jay Samuels and Richard Gordon, Jr.; and her great-nephew Simon Halper. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A procession will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mrs. Gordon's memory be made to Camp Robin, which provides recreation programs to individuals with special needs. Please make checks payable to the Township of Old Bridge and in the memo line, write Edna Gordon Donation.
