He is survived by: his son James Kearney (Keri); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and James; his daughter Keri Kraft (Glen); his grandchildren, Evan and Emelia; his daughter Meghan Jeney (John); his grandchildren, Sean and Shea; his great grandchild Scott Kearney (Christina); his brothers, Joseph (Judith (Judy)) and Thomas (Sheila); his siblings-in-law, Geraldine (Gerry) and James O'Connor; Ryan, Matthew and Dylan.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Old Bridge Funeral Home (2350 County Rd 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (333 NJ-18, Old Bridge, NJ 08857). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816).
