She was predeceased by: her husband Antonino Amato; her son Carlo Amato; and her siblings, Salvatore and Francesca. She is survived by: her children, Maria DiRienzo (Michael), Pietro Amato (Bernadette) and Salvatore Amato (Jennifer); her daughter-in-law Josephine Amato; her grandchildren, Salvatore Marsella (Celine), Esterlaure Marsella, Antonino Amato (Jessica), Vito Amato (Lindsay), Lauren Filozof (Eric), Carlo Amato, Peter Amato, Lori Amato and Carmelo Amato; her great grandchildren, Salvatore, Vincenza, Evangelina, Alessia, Luciano, Ariana and Hayden; and her siblings, Rosalia, Maria, Giuseppina and Pietro.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home & Cremation Service (501 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Gabriel's Catholic Church (100 N Main St, Marlboro, NJ 07746). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel (549 County Rd 520 E, Marlboro, NJ 07746).
