He is survived by: his wife Catherine Gillespie (Baker); his sister Ann Marie McAleese; his children, Patrick Gillespie (Kristine), Christine Facer (Jamie) and Andrew Gillespie (Julie); and his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Chloe, Alexandra (Madison Gillespie) and Finn (Alastair Facer). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
