He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Catherine; and his brother-in-law Paul Pytal. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Suzanne Golden (Ed) of River Edge, John Flannigan (Stephanie) of Essex, VT, Katherine Drury (Chris) of Oradell and Maureen Joel (Ed) of Ho-Ho; his grandchildren, Patrick, Anne and Margaret Joel; his children, Brendan, Kate, Sean Golden, Kaylie, Amelia and A. J. Flannigan; his sister Joan Pytal; his niece Jennifer Underwood; and his nephews, Paul and Tim Pytal.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home (559 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, NJ 07649). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (102 Park St, Haworth, NJ 07641). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (102 Park St, Haworth, NJ 07641).
