He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Flora (Hein); and his son Michael (Christina). He is survived by: his sister Patricia Romeo; his children, John (Carole), Tara Monaco (Karl) and Darren (Liz); and his grandchildren, Poppy, Alyssa, Nicole, Johnny, Caitlin, Kristie of Jaclyn, KJ, Daniella, Kara and Kristina.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tuttle Funeral Home (272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Church (335 Dover Chester Rd, Randolph, NJ 07869). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
